Nigeria and Cuba led the October ranking of countries whose residents were most interested in bitcoin on the internet. This is evidenced by the Bitcoin Revolution latest data from the Google Trends service.
The biggest surge in Internet user activity was observed in the second half of October, when BTC tried to gain a foothold above $14,000 several times. However, the cryptovite failed to do so, and it met $13,600 in November.
In addition to Nigeria and Cuba, the top five were South Africa, Cameroon and Ghana. Ukraine and Russia were ranked 64th and 65th respectively.
The largest number of BTC searches in the Russian Federation last month were sent by Internet users from Adygeya, Magadan Region, Chechnya, Kamchatka and Sakhalin.
Arcane Research recently published a study which said that in the summer of 2020, the number of search queries on „Bitcoin“ and „buy cryptovolta“ has jumped to the highest level since January 2018.
This trend indicates that new investors are entering the cryptosphere, which has a positive impact on the value of Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
