Currently, there are two identified locations for the proposed transit station in Cottage Grove. The first potential transit location is the former Langdon Village site, just south of Jamaica Avenue and west of Highway 61.

The second potential location is the Cottage Grove Park & Ride located at 7500 West Point Douglas Road South. Currently, express buses carry commuters from Cottage Grove and surrounding areas to downtown Minneapolis.

The transit station planning process, which includes public participation and feedback, will begin in 2010. A final report on station concepts and designs is expected to be completed by the summer of 2011.
